Andrzej Zieliński is fascinated by the visual manifestation of new communication technologies, which are the subject matter of his work. At the core of his work in drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking are the ideas of 'interface' and 'data transmission'. The devices Zieliński paints and sculpts are refreshingly liberated from their practical design infringements. Zieliński's work seems paradoxically futuristic and archaic and he often refers to it as 'feral' as if they have taken own their own personality traits. In Control Remote Zielinski's work is installed in two galleries with new paintings and sculptures including his first bronze outdoor sculpture.
