Matthew Kluber

Bio

Matthew Kluber received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from the University of Iowa. He is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Art Department at Grinnell College. Kluber has exhibited his paintings/projections, films, and drawings at galleries and museums including: the Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai, China, FOCUS09/Art Basel, Switzerland; The Painting Center, New York; David Richard Gallery, New York; Orange Door, Chicago; Haw Contemporary, Kansas City; the Orlando Museum of Art; Art Basel Miami; Bemis Center for Contemporary Art and Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha. His work is in the collection of the Austin Museum of Art, Texas; the Portland Museum of Art, Oregon; the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Michigan; the Des Moines Art Center; the University of Iowa Museum of Art and the Carl & Marilynn Thoma Art Foundation, Chicago.
