A backyard scene showing six children in swimwear positioned around a large metal stock tank filled with water. Some recline on the concrete ground in various poses of leisure, while others sit in or near the tank and on red Adirondack chairs. Weathered wooden fences, overgrown vegetation, and outbuildings frame the composition, creating a domestic, summery atmosphere rendered in naturalistic color.
