A bronze sculptural figure of a girl stands on a wooden platform in the center of a calm river, shading her eyes as she gazes into the distance. Around her, several children in various states of repose occupy the platform and its edges—one lying down, others sitting or dangling their feet in the water—surrounded by coolers, supplies, and domestic objects, creating a surreal tableau of leisure amid lush green trees.
