Two young girls lounge on a red damask velvet sofa in a domestic interior. The older girl reclines with one leg extended, gazing upward, while a younger girl lies on her side nearby. A tabby cat walks across the sofa's back, and scattered objects—shoes, magazines, bottles, and personal items—cover the wooden floor, suggesting youthful disarray. Framed artworks and a yellow pendant lamp hang on the cream-colored walls behind.
